CT Enterography technique.

To Prepare 2.0 Litres of 3% Mannitol for Negative Oral contrast for CT Enterography/CECT Abdomen.
1)Take three 100ml-bottles of 20% Mannitol.
2)Take 2 bottles of 1 liter drinking/mineral water.
3)Remove 150ml water from 1 Litre drinking/mineral water bottle and add 150ml (1 & ½ bottle of Mannitol) to it again make it 1 Litre. Do the same for second bottle of drinking/mineral water. Thus 2.0 litre of 3% mannitol is ready.
4)This has to be taken orally in small parts (100-200ml) by patient at every 5-10min interval  over a period of 60min. Preserve last 300ml of water and report to CT room technologist.  Last 300ml of contrast is to be taken on CT table.
